Comments from Joe & Pat
of Oregon, about their 2010 Diesel/Whisper pup:

Hi Shelley, We just wanted to send you an update and photo of Bella. She has become a beautiful girl. At one year old she is 92.5 lbs and very healthy. We had her spayed at 8 months and she is doing great. Every night she loves to come in the house and lay on her bed in front of the fireplace and watch television with us. She has five acres to run on all day long and has explored every inch of it. Everyone that sees her compliments how beautiful she is and well behaved. Best regards, Joe & Pat

Here is Bella, a Diesel DAUGHTER, at 1 year of age & a whopping 92 lbs! We raise our pups with our own cats in hopes that they'll adapt well into their new homes with exisiting cats. Take a look. . .proof is in the pudding!! She's actually HOLDING this cat!
Shelley ~ Jumbo is so good with the horses. He is quick to be out of the way when he has to, but loves them too. Is always helping me with the rope when leading them, so now with Pea I can just leave him with the rope and he holds it on his own for a few minutes, then loses interest and off to something else. He is the dog of all dogs in our opinion, we just love him to bits, he of course runs our lives. Took him to Yellowstone with us for two days about a month ago, we called him our Japanese tourist, as he never laid down to sleep, looked out of the window continually commenting on all around him. Did not like the buffalo at all, but was fascinated by the two wolves we saw, think he saw some resemblance. Totally made himself at home at the hotel, head greeter in the front office had all the workers  totally organized.  he just continues to bring us so much pleasure every day.   he does not have one mean bone in his body. I always said I would never have a German shepherd as a family dog if I had small children, this one has proved me wrong, he loves kids and is drawn to them automatically.  anyway enough of singing his praises I could do that all day.  Vicky
Jumbo at 4 months. Loves the water!
As does his father Diesel!
Jumbo at 8 months, leading his owner's horse, Pea! Amazing!
Hi Shelley We hope you are doing well.  We just wanted to send you an update and some pictures of Ranger.  He is doing great and is definitely a head-turner; we get comments about him wherever we go.  He is also getting BIG.  As you know, he is now five months old and is already 62 lbs.  He is full of energy and loves to play with his "sisters"' also known as our three daughters.  He has filled the gigantic void that was left when Dallas, our beloved GSD passed on.  In many ways Ranger reminds us of him, but he is definitely his own dog.  Thanks for breeding such a superior dog! Shelley, We just wanted to send you some updated pictures of our boy.  As of last week, he weighed 92 lbs at 8 months.  He is doing great; he is very playful and friendly with those that he is familiar with but is also very protective.  His bark will truly stop you in your tracks.  As you can see, he's retained quite a bit of the darker markings but we like it. Hope all is well with you. Take care, Tom & Suzann

Shelley,

We just wanted to send you some pictures of Ranger (yellow boy from the Diesel/Piper breeding born 2/19/11).  Ranger is doing great and has definitely grown into his big paws.  He is an awesome watchdog and loves to follow his sisters around all day long.  He is just a big kid himself.  Hope all is well with you and we'll talk to you soon.

Hi Shelley!!
How are you??!  Its 5 months now!  Haven is doing great..changing fast now.
She has a very good life, just like I promised!  Busy all the
time and goes everywhere. This morning we were at the beach swimming.
She loves the water and loves to swim! Then we went to the Farmers
Market and after I am done here we are going to the dog park where we
usually spend a couple of hours EVERY evening. Kurt takes her to
another dog park every morning when I go to work.  She has lots of
puppy friends that she sees there every day, and by the end of the day
she is pretty tired!  She is finally getting out of that mouthy stage
where everything goes into the mouth, and the adult in her is coming
out. I can see that she is going to be a good protector already,
though she is friendly towards everyone and all dogs she meets. She is
particularly drawn to children.  I love her dearly, Shelly!  She is the joy of my life.  Hope all is well with you and look forward to hearing from you!

Updates from a Lizzy daughter living in Washington:

Hi Shelley!   Haven is now 3 months old & is VERY good at coming when called, and we are not having many 'accidents' lately. Loves riding in the car, loves going to bed in her crate at night, is great at the commands of sit, stay, and come, which are the 3 main things I want her to learn for safety.  Here are some pictures we took today to send to you since it IS  her 3 month birthday!  Will keep you updated!

Hi Shelley!
Hope all is well with you!  I wanted to send you some pictures of our beautiful Haven. These were taken a month ago, a couple weeks after she was spayed, so if she looks a little thin its because her underbelly was shaved!  She loves seeing her friends at the dog park twice a day, loves her walks and hikes and LOVES swimming at the lakes and beaches! Everyone thinks she is beautiful and she gets a lot of compliments. You did tell me that I would have a hard time explaining to people that she was a German Shepherd because of her coloring and coat, and that is exactly what is happening, and just what I wanted!
I love her coat and her colors! I will keep you updated in the future.

An update on another one of our wonderful Lizzy pups!
This is a full brother to Haven above!

Shelley, Sorry it has taken so long to let you know the progress of "Wego" .  We've thought about how great a dog he's turned out to be, thanking you silently many times, for the great start he had as a puppy.  He will be a year old in several days (March 10th), weighs 90 pounds, still growing and has beautiful colors and markings.  He has the best temperament you could possibly ask for.  We often refer to him as our "Gentle Giant" because he's huge but very gentle.  He's great with other dogs, friendly with people yet very protective of us and loves the water.  You might remember him when you see the attached pictures and recognize the short tail.  We love it, he's never knocked anything over with it and it's never seemed to bother him either.
We both wanted to thank you for giving him a fantastic start in life. From the day we picked him up at the airport we could tell he was going to be something very special in our lives, he's turned out to be that and so much more. Thanks, Craig and Sharon
